  • Looking to build a career where I can make a strategic and impactful difference at the intersection of healthcare and business

Sonal is a recent graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, where she earned her B.A. in Public Health and Sociology, with hopes to help serve the mental health needs of underserved populations and to destigmatize mental health in South Asian communities.

While at F&M, Sonal served as a member of the mental health organizations The Pizza Project and Active Minds, both of which held goals to destigmatize mental health and provide students and faculty with related resources. Additionally, Sonal was a part of the a cappella group Kite & Keys, where she also held a role Public Relations Chair.

Last summer, Sonal was a part of the MetroPlusHealth Public Relations team, a not-for-profit provider of equitable and affordable health insurance for New York City residents. Previous roles include working with patients in rehabilitation and hospital settings, as well as leadership experience through Corner House Behavioral Health in Princeton, NJ.

In her free time, Sonal can be found reading a book, enjoying a new show or movie, listening to endless music, spending time with her dog, and picking up new interests.
