Michelle will be attending Yale University in the fall to pursue a Master’s of Public Health degree with a concentration in Health Policy. She has recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine with her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Sciences and Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health Policy.

During her undergraduate years, Michelle has held various roles related to health and public health. She has been a UCI COVID-19 Chatline Intern, researching information about COVID-19 to provide to the Orange County community, a IEG discussion leader, encouraging thoughtful conversations among students about HIV/AIDS, and an Anteater Ambassador, promoting healthy behaviors and spreading helpful information to the UCI community to protect themselves from COVID-19.

Michelle has a passion for improving health and hopes to develop policies in the future to increase access to healthcare and increase the efficiency of healthcare systems. In Michelle’s free time, she loves to travel, play with her dog, and read. You can find Michelle at many different coffee shops in LA and OC as she is a coffee enthusiast.
