Danielle Simmons is a seasoned communications expert with significant experience working with healthcare disruptors and global brands. With a career spanning 20+ years, Danielle has held leadership roles with Ancestry and Johnson & Johnson, ran public affairs for California’s healthcare quality improvement organization for Medicare, and managed communications programs for clients that include 24 Hour Fitness, Big Health, Brain Resource, Caring.com, Center for the Developing Adolescent, Digital Health Summit, Dr. Phil’s Path to Recovery, Guardant Health, Integrated Prescription Management, Neurotrack, On Lok, SMART Brain Aging, and Yes Health.

Danielle is a seasoned counselor, working with clients on strategic communications, thought leadership, and integrated marketing, around products, services and organizations addressing global health issues including access and disparity. She is passionate about helping consumers change health outcomes and has created programs that seek to generate awareness, education, and call to action, for clinical settings and topics, including aging/senior care, consumer wellness and prevention, chronic conditions and disease management (including arthritis, cancer, diabetes, and HIV), consumer genetics, recovery, mental health, and cognitive health.

In addition to her deep experience and passion in health, Danielle is a supporter of diversity, equality, education, and sustainability, lending support to these important social issues in a variety of pro bono capacities.
