Arun joins The Krinsky Company as an extended member of the team bringing with him over 12 years of experience from the financial services industry. 

He started his career at CTC where he spent over a decade working on a number of profitable teams. He spent time as a market maker in the NY pits, started an overnight desk where he built relationships with multiple international counterparties, and eventually became the lead electronic trader in his asset class. He was responsible for daily risk management of his products, new KPI initiatives to streamline firm-wide performance, and taught classes on how to prepare for trading during extreme market volatility.

Most recently, Arun started a trading desk at Citadel Securities. He built a multimillion-dollar business in his first year trading precious metals and foreign exchange options. He was responsible for improving market share on his desk and was on pace for significant PnL growth in just his second year. Arun drove product management of various applications used by stakeholders across the global business while also building tools bespoke to his unit. 

Arun graduated Cum Laude from the NYU Stern School of Business with a double major in Finance and International Business. He studied abroad at NYU in London during his sophomore year where he picked up an interest in travel and other cultures. Sparked by a curiosity in areas like AI and Bitcoin, Arun pursued and received a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Chicago. In his spare time, he also enjoys skiing, weight lifting, and playing a variety of sports.
